Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ribeye steak Thinly sliced against the grain
  • ½ cup Butter Divided for cooking and brushing
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced
  • ½ cup Parsley Chopped
  • 8 pieces Slider rolls Cut through the middle into tops and bottoms
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 ½ cups Button mushrooms Cleaned and sliced
  • 1 small Green bell pepper Cored and chopped
  • 2 cups Provolone cheese Shredded

Instructions

  • Step 1: Start by slicing the ribeye steak thinly against the grain. If the steak is slightly frozen, it’s easier to cut. Once sliced, season the meat lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Step 2: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped green bell pepper and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and have released their moisture. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. Remove the veggies from the pan and set aside.
  • Step 3: In the same skillet, add a couple of tablespoons of butter and allow it to melt. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the sliced ribeye steak to the pan. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 3-4 minutes, or until the steak is browned and cooked through.
  • Step 4: Once the steak is cooked, return the sautéed bell pepper and mushrooms to the skillet. Pour in the remaining melted butter and sprinkle the chopped parsley over the mixture. Stir everything well to combine, allowing the flavors to meld together. Remove from heat.
  • Step 5: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Take your slider rolls and place the bottom halves in a baking dish. Spoon the steak and vegetable mixture evenly over the rolls, then pile the shredded provolone cheese on top. Finish by placing the tops of the slider rolls over the cheese.
  • Step 6: Brush the tops of the slider rolls with a little melted butter for added flavor and browning. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the rolls are lightly golden brown.
  • Step 7: Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before slicing them into individual servings. Serve warm and enjoy the delightful blend of flavors and textures in each bite.

Notes

For a quicker cooking time, use pre-sliced ribeye steak. Don’t skip the parsley! It adds freshness. Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese.
