Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 large Yellow Onion peeled and sliced
  • 1 large Green Bell Pepper cored and sliced
  • 6 ounces Cooked Steak thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Provolone Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded, divided
  • Fresh Parsley chopped, for garnish
  • Baguette Slices for serving

Instructions

  • In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Remove from heat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the sautéed vegetables and thinly sliced cooked steak to the cream cheese mixture. Stir to incorporate all ingredients evenly.
  • Fold in the shredded Monterey Jack and provolone cheese. Reserve 1 cup of mozzarella cheese for topping. Stir until well combined.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the cheese steak mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Sprinkle the reserved mozzarella cheese on top of the dip, ensuring it covers the entire surface.
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve with baguette slices for dipping.
