Naturally Sweet Green Smoothie
A bright, naturally sweet green smoothie made with apple, romaine, spinach, banana, and lemon for a refreshing, nutrient-packed drink.

Ingredients

sweet apple
cored and chopped

romaine lettuce

spinach

cold water

lemon juice
juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
Add the chopped apple, roughly chopped romaine, and 2 cups cold water to a blender and blend on high until mostly smooth.
Add the packed spinach to the blender and blend again until the mixture is smooth and evenly green.
Add the frozen banana and the juice of 1/2 lemon, then blend on high until the smoothie is very smooth and creamy.
Divide the smoothie evenly among 3 jars or glasses and serve immediately.

Notes
Smoothies will keep in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
You can freeze portions for up to 2 months.
To defrost, place in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours.
