Naturally Sweet Green Smoothie

A bright, naturally sweet green smoothie made with apple, romaine, spinach, banana, and lemon for a refreshing, nutrient-packed drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 large sweet apple cored and chopped
  • 1 head romaine lettuce roughly chopped
  • 2 cups spinach packed
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 large ripe banana frozen
  • 0.5 lemon lemon juice juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  • Add the chopped apple, roughly chopped romaine, and 2 cups cold water to a blender and blend on high until mostly smooth.
  • Add the packed spinach to the blender and blend again until the mixture is smooth and evenly green.
  • Add the frozen banana and the juice of 1/2 lemon, then blend on high until the smoothie is very smooth and creamy.
  • Divide the smoothie evenly among 3 jars or glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Smoothies will keep in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
  • You can freeze portions for up to 2 months.

  • Shake well before drinking because separation may occur.
