Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Step 4: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla and peppermint extracts.
  • Step 5: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  • Step 6: Add green food coloring until you achieve your desired hue.
  • Step 7: Fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
