Ingredients

Avocados

  • 4 large ripe avocados pitted

Tomatoes

  • 0.5 cup tomato diced

Onions

  • 0.25 cup red onion peeled and diced

Lime

  • 0.5 unit lime juiced

Cilantro

  • 2 tablespoons cilantro chopped

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  • Step 1: Cut the ripe avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop the creamy flesh into a mixing bowl.
  • Step 2: Using a fork or potato masher, gently mash the avocados until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Step 3: Add the diced tomatoes, red onions, and chopped cilantro to the mashed avocados and fold gently.
  • Step 4: Squeeze half a lime over the mixture, add garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and mix until well combined.
  • Step 5: Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary, adding more lime juice or cilantro if desired.
  • Step 6: Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with tortilla chips or fresh veggies.
