Ingredients

Chicken Wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings (cut into drumettes and wings)
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup Buffalo sauce (I used Frank’s)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Rinse and pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the baking soda, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder. Mix thoroughly and toss the chicken wings until coated.
  • Step 3: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on the rack.
  • Step 4: Bake for 30 minutes, flip the wings, and continue baking for another 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Step 5: Remove the wings from the oven, transfer to a mixing bowl, and toss with Buffalo sauce until well coated.
  • Step 6: Serve with carrot and celery sticks, along with blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping.
