Ingredients

Chicken

Dairy

  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 0.75 cup ranch dressing
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup

Bacon

  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

Tater Tots

  • 1.5 pounds frozen tater tots Approximately 6 cups.

Cheese

  • 2.5 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Garnish

  • green onion, thinly sliced For garnish.
  • fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Gather your ingredients and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped chicken, sour cream, ranch dressing, and cream of chicken soup. Stir until well combined.
  • Step 3: Add the crumbled bacon to the mixture and fold gently.
  • Step 4: Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and sprinkle 2 cups of cheddar cheese on top.
  • Step 5: Arrange the frozen tater tots evenly over the cheese layer.
  • Step 6: Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
  • Step 7: Bake for 30-35 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Step 8: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes, then garnish with green onions and parsley before serving.
