Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger sliced
  • ½ Tbsp fresh turmeric
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ¼ cup pineapple core chunks
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 lemon-verbena tea bag

Optional

  • 1 tsp raw apple-cider vinegar
  • 1 lemon slice for garnish
  • Honey

Instructions

  • Combine ginger, turmeric, cinnamon stick, mint, pineapple core, and water in a small saucepan.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat and let it bubble softly for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, add the lemon-verbena tea bag, cover, and steep for 10 minutes.
  • Strain into a mug. Stir in apple-cider vinegar (if using) and sweeten lightly with honey. Garnish with the lemon slice.
  • Sip warm within 30 minutes of waking for best metabolic support.
