Ingredients

Mushrooms

  • 25 pieces white mushrooms Cleaned and stems removed

Seasoning

  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Aromatics

  • cup yellow onion Peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic Minced

Cheese Filling

  • 8 ounces cream cheese Softened
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • ½ cup Asiago cheese Shredded
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley Finely chopped

Topping

  • 2 tablespoons panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter Melted

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel and remove the stems.
  • Step 2: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, Asiago, sautéed onions, garlic, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper, and mix until well combined.
  • Step 4: Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, packing it in nicely. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Step 5: In a small bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and melted butter. Sprinkle over the stuffed mushrooms. Bake for 20-25 minutes until tender and golden brown.
  • Step 6: Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.

Notes
