Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • cup granulated sugar
  • cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ cup Christmas nonpareils sprinkles

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Step 3: Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Step 4: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
  • Step 5: Fold in the nonpareils sprinkles gently.
  • Step 6: Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  • Step 7: Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are light golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
