Ingredients

Canned Peaches

  • 61 ounces canned sliced peaches in syrup (four 15.25-ounce cans)

Spices

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Cake Mix

  • 15.25 ounces vanilla cake mix (1 box)

Butter

  • ¾ cup butter, melted

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: Open the four cans of sliced peaches and drain off half of the syrup. In a large mixing bowl, combine the peach slices with the ground cinnamon. Stir gently to coat the peaches evenly with the cinnamon.
  • Step 3: Spread the cinnamon-coated peaches evenly on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Step 4: Sprinkle the entire box of vanilla cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  • Step 5: Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  • Step 6: Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbly.
  • Step 7: Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
