Ingredients

Canned Tomatoes

  • 20 ounces Rotel Original 2 cans

Fresh Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Cilantro stems removed
  • 0.5 medium Yellow Onion peeled and cut into quarters
  • 1 clove Garlic

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 0.5 medium Jalapeno adjust to taste

Instructions

  • Gather all your ingredients.
  • Add the contents of the two cans of Rotel Original to your blender.
  • Add the cilantro, peeled and quartered yellow onion, and garlic clove to the blender.
  • Sprinkle in the salt, black pepper, and ground cumin, then add the honey.
  • Add the half of a jalapeno, adjusting for spice preference.
  • Blend on high speed until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  • Transfer the salsa to a serving bowl and enjoy!
