Crock Pot Chicken Wings

Ingredients

Chicken Wings

  • 3 pounds chicken wings, separated into drummettes and paddles

Sauce

  • 1.5 cups Frank’s hot sauce (or your favorite brand)
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted

Dipping Sauces

  • to taste blue cheese dressing for dipping
  • to taste ranch dressing for dipping

Vegetable Sticks

  • to serve carrot sticks
  • to serve celery sticks

Instructions

  • Step 1: Rinse the chicken wings under cold water, pat them dry with paper towels, and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  • Step 2: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until fully liquefied. Remove from heat and whisk in the Frank’s hot sauce until combined.
  • Step 3: Pour the hot sauce mixture over the chicken wings and toss gently until evenly coated.
  • Step 4: Transfer the coated wings to the Crock Pot, spread them out evenly, cover, and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  • Step 5: For a crispy exterior, preheat the oven to broil, transfer wings to a wire rack on a baking sheet, and broil for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Step 6: Serve the wings on a platter with carrot and celery sticks, along with blue cheese and ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes
