Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: Grease a baking dish with butter.
Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, and water. Toss gently.
Step 4: Pour the blackberry mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Step 5: In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients for the crumble topping. Rub in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Step 6: Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the blackberry filling.
Step 7: Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
Step 8: Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
