  • 4 cups Fresh Blackberries Frozen and thawed if necessary.
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Crumble Topping Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter For greasing and mixing into the crumble.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: Grease a baking dish with butter.
  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, and water. Toss gently.
  • Step 4: Pour the blackberry mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Step 5: In a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients for the crumble topping. Rub in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Step 6: Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the blackberry filling.
  • Step 7: Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  • Step 8: Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
