Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1.5 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 1.5 tablespoons Ground cinnamon
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Step 4: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  • Step 5: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  • Step 6: In a small bowl, mix the ground cinnamon with 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar.
  • Step 7: Roll the cookie dough into balls and coat them in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Step 8: Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
