  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and granulated sugar. Whisk until well combined.
  • Step 4: In another bowl, mix the mayonnaise and water until smooth.
  • Step 5: Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  • Step 6: Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans and smooth the tops.
  • Step 7: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Step 8: Let the cakes cool in the pans for about 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
