  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices black forest ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Pound the chicken breasts to an even ½ inch thickness.
  • Step 2: Lay out the slices of ham on each chicken breast, followed by Swiss cheese.
  • Step 3: Roll up each chicken breast tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  • Step 4: Set up a breading station with flour, beaten egg, and panko bread crumbs.
  • Step 5: Dredge each chicken roll in flour, dip in egg, and coat with panko.
  • Step 6: Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Step 7: Allow to rest, remove toothpicks, slice, and serve warm.
