Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 24 ounces Little Beef Franks 2 packages
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar packed
  • 3 ounces Bourbon
  • ½ cup Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Mustard Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions

  • Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients. Before you dive into cooking, gather all your ingredients on the counter.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Sauce. In a medium saucepan, combine the packed light brown sugar, bourbon, ketchup, ground mustard powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce is well-combined. Bring to a slight simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Step 3: Add the Little Beef Franks. Once the sauce is warmed through, add the little beef franks to the pot and stir to coat each frank.
  • Step 4: Cook the Franks. Transfer the coated beef franks to a slow cooker on low for 2-3 hours or to a baking dish covered with foil in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30-40 minutes.
  • Step 5: Serve and Enjoy. Serve hot and consider garnishing with chopped green onions or parsley.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, let it cook down longer. Reduce brown sugar for a less sweet version. Add cayenne pepper for heat.
