Ingredients

Apples

  • 4 large Honeycrisp or Granny Smith apples Choose firm and fresh apples for best texture.

Filling

  • 2 tablespoons Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup Granulated sugar Can substitute with brown sugar for richer flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Place on top of each apple.
  • 0.5 cup Apple juice Pour into the baking dish for steaming.

Serving

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Step 2: Wash and core the apples, making sure to keep the base intact.
  • Step 3: In a small bowl, mix the ground cinnamon and granulated sugar.
  • Step 4: Fill the cored apples with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • Step 5: Place butter on top of each apple and pour apple juice into the baking dish.
  • Step 6: Arrange the apples in the baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Step 7: Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
