Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2: Clean the dried Mission figs with a damp cloth or soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes.
Step 3: Cut each slice of pepper bacon in half.
Step 4: Wrap each fig with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Step 5: Arrange the wrapped figs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 6: Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and browned.
Step 7: Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm, optionally with maple syrup for dipping.
