  • 9 ounces Dried Mission Figs (approximately 24 figs)
  • 1 pound Pepper Bacon
  • Maple Syrup for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Step 2: Check the figs for stems or imperfections. Soak in warm water for 10-15 minutes if dry, then drain and pat dry.
  • Step 3: Cut each slice of bacon in half. Wrap each fig with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  • Step 4: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the wrapped figs on the sheet, spaced apart.
  • Step 5: Bake for 15-20 minutes until the bacon is golden and crispy. Optionally, broil for the last minute.
  • Step 6: Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with maple syrup for dipping.
