  • 1 loaf French bread Cut lengthwise
  • ½ cup unsalted butter At room temperature
  • 1 ounce ranch dressing mix
  • ½ pound bacon Cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 1 cup mild cheddar cheese Shredded
  • to taste fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the French bread lengthwise.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the unsalted butter and ranch dressing mix until well incorporated.
  • Spread the ranch butter mixture generously over the cut sides of the French bread.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over both halves of the bread, then top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  • Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, garnish with parsley, slice, and serve warm.
