Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with granulated sugar. Toss them gently to coat. Set them aside for about 15-20 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, add the heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Whip until soft peaks form.
In another bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth and thickened.
Cut the angel food cake into cubes. In a trifle dish, layer the ingredients starting with cake cubes, followed by whipped cream, pudding, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with fresh mint if desired.
