Description

Deliciously creamy mashed potatoes made effortlessly in a crockpot. Perfect for busy weeknights or holiday feasts!


Ingredients

  • 4 pounds (1.8kg) Yukon Gold or Maris Piper potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ¾ cup (180ml) water or chicken stock
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup (60g) salted butter, softened
  • ¼ cup (60ml) heavy cream, at room temperature

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into 1-inch pieces and place them in the crockpot.
  2. Pour in the water or chicken stock.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until fork-tender.
  5. Mash the potatoes using a masher, ricer, or electric mixer.
  6. Mix in the softened butter and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
  7. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra creamy texture, use a potato ricer. Adjust the amount of heavy cream for desired consistency.
